If a particular document converted badly, say which app made the PDF and what went wrong — that is usually enough to reproduce it. Please do not attach confidential documents.

Common questions

What do I get for free?

The first three pages of any document, converted fully and at normal quality. Nothing is watermarked or blurred — the point is that you can judge the result before paying.

I bought the full version. Do I have to convert the document again?

No. The app keeps the source PDF, so right after the purchase it re-converts the whole document by itself.

How do I restore my purchase on a new device?

Tap Unlock and then Restore purchase, signed in with the same Apple Account that bought it. The purchase is one-time and is not charged again.

Where are my converted files?

Inside the app, in the list on the main screen. Open one and use the share button to save it to Files, send it by mail, or open it in Word or Pages.

Can it convert a scanned PDF?

Yes. Pages without a text layer go through text recognition on the device. Quality depends on the scan: clean, straight, reasonably sharp pages work well; photographs of pages at an angle and handwriting do not.

The layout came out different from the PDF.

Text documents — contracts, resumes, letters, articles, reports — come out close to the original. Magazine-style multi-column layouts, nested tables and text wrapped around images are simplified: the text is preserved, the arrangement is not. That is a limitation of converting on the device, and it is why the first pages are free.

It says the PDF is password-protected.

Encrypted PDFs cannot be opened. Remove the password first — for example, open it in Preview on a Mac and export a copy without encryption.

Does it work without internet?

Yes, for everything except the purchase itself, which Apple handles.

Can I get a refund?

Refunds are handled by Apple, not by us: go to reportaproblem.apple.com and sign in with your Apple Account. Do tell us what went wrong as well — a refund with no explanation fixes nothing.
